Visteon Corp. says it received a request last year from EU regulators for information related to a global investigation of bid rigging and price fixing among suppliers of automotive electronics.

Visteon disclosed its involvement in the probe in a filing to the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission this week. The company, which is based near Detroit, says it will cooperate with European officials.

Government authorities in Europe, Japan and the U.S. are cooperating in an investigation of widespread collusion among auto suppliers to control parts prices.
