Denso Corp. is working with Honeywell International Inc. to develop hybrid-electric and fully electric propulsion systems for future flying cars and air taxis.
The partners aim to combine Denso expertise in traction motors, inverters and other automotive electronics with Honeywell’s aerospace know-how. The companies anticipate surging demand for so-called urban air mobility transportation in coming years to help reduce congestion and pollution.
