The passenger-car market in the Czech Republic expanded 17% to a record 192,300 units in 2014, according to the car Importers Assn. The group had predicted sales of 3%-5% at this time a year ago.
The association tells reporters it expects the country's new-car market will grow to about 210,000 units in 2015.
