Consumer Confidence Hits 13-Year High in Germany
German consumers are the most confident about their country's economy since 2001, according to a poll by the GfK Group in Nuremberg.

German consumers are the most confident about their country's economy since 2001, according to a poll by the GfK Group in Nuremberg.
The research group's consumer climate index is at 9.7 for March from 9.3 l in February. GfK says German consumers are "seemingly not greatly affected" by tensions involving Ukraine, Russia and Greece.
The findings come as the Federal Statistical Office reports Germany's unemployment rate declined to 6.9% in February from 7% in January. The country's seasonally adjusted jobless rate is 6.5%
