Chrysler to Hike 2012 Outlook as U.S. Market “Roars”
Chrysler Group LLC expects to boost its forecast for full-year profits after the current quarter because of sustained strength in the U.S. market, CFO Richard Palmer tells analysts.

Chrysler Group LLC expects to boost its forecast for full-year profits after the current quarter because of sustained strength in the U.S. market, CFO Richard Palmer tells analysts.
"The North American car industry is coming back with a roar," CEO Sergio Marchionne declared earlier in an e-mail to employees. Chrysler anticipates automakers will sell more than 14 million light vehicles in America in 2012.
On Monday the company affirmed its earlier outlook for net income of about $1.5 billion this year.
