Miami-based CarCharging Group Inc. has acquired Blink Network and its 12,600 installed charging stations for $3.3 million.

CarCharging says the deal makes it America's largest EV charging services company with 13,000 charging points in 35 states and three countries. Earlier this year the company bought three similar providers: 350Green, Beam charging and EVPass

As part of the Blink Network acquisition, CarCharging also becomes project manager for the U.S. Department of Energy EV Project. The $280 million program to grow the nation's EV infrastructure is funded by a $115 million federal grant and private matching funds.
