BYD Auto Co. Ltd. and Daimler AG say plans are on track to introduce their jointly developed Denza electric sedan in China next year.
The EV will be publicly unveiled in April at the Beijing auto show and go on sale through dealerships in Beijing and later Shanghai and Shenzhen.
The partners unveiled the B-segment Denza in concept form at the Beijing show last year. They have not released any details about the car or its sales goals. The EV is being developed by Shenzhen BYD Daimler New Technology Co., a new-energy venture launched by the two companies in 2011.
