Bosch Plans Electronics, Wiper Plant in Korea

Robert Bosch GmbH is launching a venture with South Korean windshield wiper maker KCW Corp. to make wipers and safety sensors, The Nikkei reports.
The partners plan to open a factory in KCW's headquarters city of Daegu by the end of next year. The companies have not revealed production levels or sales targets.
The newspaper notes that Bosch hopes to approximately double its sales in Asia to roughly €22 billion ($24 billion) by 2020. Last year the company's sales in Korea jumped 21% to a record €1.5 billion ($1.6 billion).
