Bentley Names New Europe Chief

Volkswagen AG's Bentley Motors has hired Bart Gerris as regional director for its European sales and marketing unit, starting Jan. 1.
Gerris is currently chief operating officer for the Netherlands dealer operations of VW's Porsche Holding Salzburg distribution subsidiary. He previously worked for Toyota Motor Corp.
Gerris will be based at Bentley headquarters in Crewe, England. The company says he is charged with leading the ultra-luxury brand's upcoming product launches and dealer expansion in Europe.
