Audi AG’s unionized workers in Gyor, Hungary, have ended a six-day strike over wages.
Workers agreed to an 18% hike in pay that begins this year and is worth at least 75,000 forint ($273) per month, Reuters reports. Workers struck in a bid to bring their pay in line with what Audi workers in Poland and Slovakia earn.
The walkout, which began on Jan. 24, idled Audi’s assembly plant in Ingolstadt, Germany, which uses engines from Gyor in the A3, A4 and A5 cars and Q2 mini-crossover vehicles it makes.RELATED CONTENT
