Aston Martin Holdings Ltd. took the wraps off the second concept vehicle under its Lagonda sub-brand for premium electric vehicles at this week’s Geneva auto show.

Dubbed the Lagonda All-Terrain Concept, the sleek crossover vehicle is built on the same platform as last year’s Lagonda Vision Concept sedan. The two models also share styling cues.

Media reports say the All-Terrain concept previews a production vehicle likely to be launched by 2022. The Lagonda models will be built at Aston Martin’s new facility in St. Athan, Wales, alongside the conventionally powered DBX crossover.

The crossover concept features a glass roof, rear-hinged second-row doors and an electrically actuated shelf that extends from the tailgate.

The futuristic-looking interior includes reconfigurable seats, a display screen in the center of the steering wheel and a second screen embedded in the center console. There are no visible speakers or vents.

Aston Martin says the concept has an autonomous driving mode but provided no details. The carmaker is targeting a 400-mile driving range and the capability to fully recharge the battery within 15 minutes.
