VW’s Interim Chairman Like to Remain through 2015

Berthold Huber, who was named interim chairman at Volkswagen AG in April when Ferdinand Piech resigned, is likely to keep the post until at least the end of 2015, Bild am Sonntag reports.

Huber, a former union leader, originally was expected to hold the job for only a few months, notes the German newspaper.

Bild cites an unnamed source who says VW board member Wolfgang Porsche has declared himself not available. Other likely candidates are CEO Martin Winterkorn and Wolfgang Porsche's nephew, Ferdinand Oliver Porsche.
