Group sales in January-November totaled 9.10 million units, down 2% year on year.
November sales of cars and trucks, rose 1% to 325,200 units in Europe and 6% to 329,000 in China. But volume dropped 15% to 45,300 vehicles in the U.S. and 42% to 40,200 in South America. Demand in Russia plummeted 35% to 15,600 units.
Unit sales for Audi and Porsche grew 1% to 147,700 and 2% to 18,100, respectively, last month. Deliveries by Skoda and SEAT slipped 1% to 89,000 and 3% to 32,400, respectively.
In the commercial sector, deliveries of VW light trucks in November declined 10% to 33,700 units. Sales of heavy-duty MAN trucks plunged 22% to 8,600 units. Demand for Scania trucks was flat at 7,100.
