VW Names New Head of Legal Affairs

Volkswagen AG has named Manfred Doss to take charge on the group’s legal affairs on Jan. 1. He succeeds Michael Ganninger, 54, who is leaving the post after 14 years under amicable terms and at his own request.

Doss, 57 currently is head of the legal department for Porsche Automobil Holding SE. He will retain that function In January but expand it to include compliance. Doss also will join the VW Group’s executive board.
