VW Group Sales Climb 12% in China

Volkswagen AG reports that its brands sold 334,800 vehicles in China in April, up 12% from the same period in 2017.

Deliveries of VW brand cars and SUV/crossovers last month climbed 10% to 247,400 units. Sales also surged for Audi (+14% to 52,400 units) and Skoda (+34% to 28,000).

VW Group sales in China through the first four months of 2018 jumped 13% to 1.34 million units, accounting for 37% of the company’s global sales for the period.
