The company describes Phoenix as the first automotive infotainment system to offer software development kits and software simulation for third-party app developers. The system, which is based on HTML5 and offers a JavaScript-based application program interface, features built-in cybersecurity and over-the-air updates.
Visteon also will display a specially equipped vehicle that includes the company's instrument clusters, head-up displays, information displays, infotainment and connectivity systems. In addition, the company will demonstrate an organic light-emitting diode system with dual-view displays that show different content based on viewing angle. Visteon also will showcase its SmartCore cockpit domain controller that integrates various electronic systems and functions.
