Visteon Promises Strategy “Clarity”—in 15 Months

CEO Timothy Leuliette tells Bloomberg News that Visteon Corp. will formulate a restructuring strategy for each of its units by the end of 2013, thus providing investors with clarity.

Leuliette, who was named permanent chief executive earlier this week, says it will take longer for Visteon to execute the new plan.

The company has said it aims to sell its interiors business and will fold its climate control unit into its Halla Climate Control Corp. joint venture, thus making interiors a South Korea-based operation. Visteon also has said it will review options for its electronics unit.
