Martin Welch is leaving Visteon Corp. after one year as executive vice president and chief financial officer. The company tells Crain's Detroit Business that Welch's departure was involuntary.
Welch's departure comes two days after Visteon named Tim Leuliette as CEO. Leuliette had been filling that job on an interim basis since the company ousted CEO Don Stebbins in August.
Michael Widgren, who has been corporate controller and chief accounting officer since May 2007, will serve as interim CFO until a permanent replacement is named. Widgren joined Visteon in 2005 after a seven-year tenure at Federal-Mogul Corp.
