Images appear behind the rings to give the IP a more textured look.
The next-generation system, which Visteon is producing in Mexico, features a 10.1-inch thin-film transistor display. Visteon notes that the cluster, which offers 24-bit color depth, has far fewer parts than a conventional array of instruments.
