Vehicle Deliveries Climb 7% in Germany

Passenger-car registrations in Germany grew 3% to 3.04 million units last year, including a 7% gain to 229,700 units in December, according to the industry group VDA.

The annual increase, which was helped by an extra selling day, reversed two years of declining demand. But results fell about 45,000 units short of matching Germany's new-car deliveries in 2012.
