U.S. Fuel Prices Steady
The average price of a gallon of gasoline in the U.S. has been unchanged at $2.34 for the past week, in spite of rapidly fluctuating oil prices, AAA reports.

The average price of a gallon of gasoline in the U.S. has been unchanged at $2.34 for the past week, in spite of rapidly fluctuating oil prices, AAA reports.
The average was $2.41 a month ago and $2.24 a year ago. AAA notes that nationwide gasoline prices in the U.S. peaked at $4.11 per gallon in July 2008.
Current averages range from $3.06 per gallon in Hawaii to $2.03 in South Carolina.
