Truck Sales in Europe Rose 16% in June

Registrations of commercial vehicles in Europe climbed 16% to 204,300 units in June, according to industry trade group ACEA.

Europe's five largest truck markets all posted strong gains. Volumes in June grew in France (+13% to 45,800 units), the U.K. (+19% to 40,700), Germany (+9% to 31,600), Spain (+50% to 17,200) and Italy (+13% to 12,600).

European demand for commercial vehicles in the first half of 2015 rose 13% to 1.07 million units, according to ACEA.
