Truck Sales Climb 10% in Europe

Growth was fueled by gains in Germany (+15% to 32,200 units) and Spain (+22% to 21,100). Deliveries grew 7% to 43,700 units in France. Volumes advanced 1% to 15,600 units in Italy and were flat at 28,100 vehicles in the U.K.
ACEA says demand for light commercial vehicles in April rose 10% to 168,800 units. Sales of heavy trucks climbed 12% to 28,000 units.
