Toyota’s U.S. Ad Agency in L.A. to Move to Texas

Saatchi LA, the ad agency whose sole client is Toyota Motor Sales USA Inc., is following the company to Plano, Tex., Advertising Age reports.

Saatchi's two-year shift will follow Toyota's sales and marketing team, which is moving from California to Texas. Team One, a sister agency that represents Toyota's Lexus luxury brand, also will open an office in Texas. Both agencies are part of Publicis Groupe.

The facilities are likely to open in late 2016 or early 2017, according to the agencies.

Toyota announced in April it was launching a three-year plan to move its North American sales, marketing, manufacturing and corporate operations from Torrance, Calif., to Plano. The move eventually will affect 4,000 employees in California.
