Toyota, Nissan Cut Production in Japan
Toyota Motor Corp. and Nissan Motor Co. say they reduced their domestic vehicle output in February by 19% to 223,900 units and 2% to 83,800 units, respectively.

Toyota's car sales in Japan dropped 11% to 118,600 units last month. The company’s exports fell 14% to 120,300 vehicles.
Nissan reports its domestic sales declined 3% to 62,900 units in February, as its exports shrank 16% to 42,000 units.
But third-ranked Honda Motor Co. says its February output climbed 19% to 75,300 cars. The company’s domestic sales dropped 4% to 69,000, but exports jumped more than fivefold to 11,000.
