On Friday Toyota Motor Corp. will unveil a 600-hp concept super sedan the TS-650 that is expected to have a top speed of 200 mph.
The car, which is based on the company's Lexus LS, was developed by Toyota Motorsports GmbH in Cologne, Germany. The teaser photos TMG posted on its Facebook page reveal a carbon-fiber deck spoiler, side skirts and roof panel.
The concept will be powered by a twin-turbocharged 5.0-liter V-8 engine, according to Leftlanenews.com. Toyota will reveal more details about the TC-650 when it publicly introduces the concept at the Essen, Germany, auto show on Nov. 30.
Leftlanenews.com opines that strong public support may coax Toyota, which has been striving to give itself a sportier image, to put the vehicle into limited production.
