Shares in Tesla Motors Inc., which climbed more than 40% this year, have sagged 14% in the past seven trading days. The stock closed on Monday at $214.36, down 4%.
Analysts blame the decline on worries that cheap gasoline is denting demand for Tesla's $80,000 Model S electric sedans.
Tesla doesn't report monthly sales. But InsideEVs.com estimates U.S. demand for the company's Model S slid to a three-month low of about 1,200 units in November.
