Tenneco Posts Strong Fourth Quarter

Tenneco Inc.'s fourth-quarter revenue jumped 16% to $2 billion, and net income grew to $54 million from $33 million in the year-earlier period.
Adjusted profit in October-December for the Lake Forest, Ill.-based maker of exhaust and emission control systems climbed to $59 million from $40 million.
For the full year, Tenneco's net income slid to $183 million from $275 million in 2012. Adjusted profit rose to $233 million from $203 million. Revenue climbed 8% to a record $8 billion.
