Suzuki Teases Crossover Concept

Suzuki Motor Corp. will show off a C-segment crossover concept late next month at the Paris auto show.

The company has released a sketch of the "S-Cross" concept ahead of the Sept. 27 public unveiling. The compact vehicle features a high hood line and character lines that start at the complex headlamp assemblies, sweep across both side doors and cross the rear hatch.

Suzuki has released no details about the vehicle, which observers speculate may indicate the look of the company's second-generation SX4 hatchback due in 2014.

The current SX4 was developed in partnership with Fiat SpA, which markets its variant as the Sedici. Suzuki is developing the SX4 replacement on its own.
