Suzuki Motor Corp. is recalling 101,700 vehicles to reattach wires that could come loose and prevent the headlamps from illuminating.
The campaign involves 2004-2006 Forenza sedans and 2005-2006 Reno five-door hatchbacks. Suzuki also is expected to recall an unspecified number of cars in Canada.
The National Highway Traffic Safety Administration says certain wiring harness connections behind the instrument panel were not securely fastened and could overheat. The result would be intermittent or total failure of the headlamps.
