Subaru to Recall 300,000 Vehicles Worldwide for Fire Hazard
Subaru maker Fuji Heavy Industries Inc. says it will recall a combined 300,000 cars in Japan, Europe and North America to fix an electrical flaw in the exhaust system that could cause a fire, The Japan Times reports.

The campaign will target Exiga and Forester wagons, Legacy midsize sedans and Impreza small sport sedans produced during the 2006-2013 model years.
Fuji Heavy did not indicate when the recalls would begin in each market. The company reports two fires attributed to the defect in the past three years.
