Subaru Teases New Impreza

Subaru-maker Fuji Heavy Industries Ltd. has released a teaser photo of the 2017 Impreza sedan to be unveiled later this month at the New York auto show.

The darkened photo reveals a sportier front end—though not as aggressive as last year’s concept model—that includes redesigned headlights.

The next-generation Impreza sedan and 5-door hatchback variant will be the first models to ride on the new global platform Subaru detailed earlier this week. The new Impreza is expected to be wider, lighter and more spacious than its predecessor.

Sales will kick off in September.
