Subaru-maker Fuji Heavy Industries Ltd. says it has set a new Guinness World Record for the tightest 360° turn in a production vehicle. Stunt driver Alastair Moffat achieved the feat in an unmodified BRZ coupe over the weekend at the Autosport International Show in Birmingham, England.

Moffat spun the 167-inch long BRZ with an additional 88.6 inches between two rows of parked cars. The previous record, set in 2014, needed a gap of 98 inches plus the length of the test vehicle.

Powered by a 2.0-liter 4-cylinder engine, the rear-wheel-drive BRZ features a limited-slip differential and a low center of gravity. To allow for greater maneuverability, the car’s traction control and antilock brakes were disengaged during the record attempt.

Moffat previously has set world records in other vehicles for the tightest parallel and reverse parallel parking maneuvers. Click here to see a video of the BRZ record.
