Spain's roll of unemployed workers grew by 25,600 people in September, thus ending six months of slow improvement, according to the country's Labor Ministry.
The jobless rate usually rises in September as the tourist season ends. Still, the ministry says September's statistics were the best since 2007.
Spain has about 4.7 million jobless adults and an unemployment rate of more than 26%.
