Volkswagen AG’s Skoda brand tells Automotive News Europe it “most likely” will begin selling its Kodiaq large SUV in South Korea next year—and could eventually add the model in the U.S.

The Kodiaq will be publicly unveiled later this week at the Paris auto show. ANE says the new vehicle could help VW recoup sales in Korea, where regulatory officials have banned the sale of 80 Audi, Bentley and VW brand models over emission violations.

Skoda sales worldwide grew 5% to 733,700 units in January-August. The brand currently generates about 25% o its sales in China, it largest national market.
