Singh to Head Toyota’s IT in N. America

Toyota Motor Corp. has appointed Manjit Singh as its North American chief information officer and head of information systems.

Singh most recently was CIO for The Clorox Co. He previously held CIO or strategy positions at Box, the Las Vega Sand, Chiquita, Gillette and Procter & Gamble.

At Toyota Motor North America, Singh will work with the carmaker’s heads of mobility and connected technology as the company develops new mobility products and services. He will report to Zack Hicks, chief digital officer and head of digital transformation and mobility.
