The 5.8-magnitude quake in Modena, home of Maserati's headquarters, was followed by a 5.6-magnitude aftershock three hours later. The temblors killed at least 16 people in the region.
An earlier 6.0-magnitude earthquake, whose epicenter was about 10 miles away, killed seven people on May 20.
Ferrari's headquarters in Maranello is about 11 miles southwest of Modena. Lamborghini is based 12 miles east of Modena.
