Schaeffler Group has appointed Dharmesh Arora as president and CEO of its operations in India.
Schaeffler Group has appointed Dharmesh Arora as president and CEO of its operations in India. Arora will be responsible for the company's INA LuK and FAG brands in the country.
Before he joined the German maker of precision bearings in August, Arora was General Motors Co. global purchasing chief for powertrain, based in Michigan. He began his career at Maruti Suzuki Ltd. before working for GM in India, Mexico and Thailand.
Schaeffler said earlier this year it would invest €150 million in India over the next four years to expand three existing plants in western and southern India and build a fourth in the western state of Gujarat.
