Scania Appoints New President and CEO

Volkswagen AG’s Scania AB commercial truck unit has named Henrik Henriksson to take over as its president and CEO on Jan. 1.

Henriksson, 45, currently is head of Scania's sales and marketing. He will succeed Per Halberg, who joined the company in 1977 and has been a member of its executive board for the past 14 years.

The company, which praises Henriksson’s “great entrepreneurial spirit,” says he also will join the board of Volkswagen’s new Truck & Bus GmbH.
