Rolls-Royce to Build Tech/Logistics Center

Rolls-Royce Motor Cars plans to open a new technology and logistics center near its Goodwood factory in England in early 2016.

The 30,000 square-meter (323,000 sq ft) facility will consolidate inbound and outbound parts warehousing and distribution, a finished-car store and a prep workshop.

The facility, which eventually will employ 200 people, will be managed by an outside logistics provider. Rolls-Royce notes the site can be expanded as needed.
