Rolls-Royce, Porsche Name New N. American Sales Execs
BMW AG’s Rolls-Royce unit has appointed Martin Fritsches to head the ultra-luxury marque’s North American operations, effective Sept. 1.
BMW AG’s Rolls-Royce unit has appointed Martin Fritsches to head the ultra-luxury marque’s North American operations, effective Sept. 1.
Fritsches (right) joined Rolls-Royce earlier this year as vice president of sales-Americas, including the brand’s 44 dealers in the region. He previously held several senior roles at BMW in sales, marketing and dealer development in Argentina, Brazil and Germany, most recently as sales director for the BMW brand in Brazil.
Fritsches will succeed Pedro Mota as president of Rolls-Royce North America. Mota (left) is returning to Porsche AG, effective Oct. 1, to head the company’s North American marketing unit after a three-year stint at Rolls-Royce.
Mota worked at Porsche for 13 years before joining Rolls-Royce. Between 2012 to 2015, he was vice president in charge of Porsche's largest U.S. sales region.
