Renault SA reports that its revenue in July-September climbed to €12.2 billion ($14.5 billion) as sales rose 9% to 866,200 vehicles.

In Europe, third-quarter registrations expanded 5% to 397,100 vehicles, aided by a 10% jump in demand for Dacia brand cars. Group sales grew at more than three times the pace of the European market overall.

Elsewhere, group sales handily outperformed the local market overall in Asia Pacific (21% vs. 5%), Eurasia (24% vs. 16%) and the Americas (14% vs. 7%).
