Renault SA intends to move some production of its Logan MCV wagon from a facility in Pitesti, Romania, to its factory in Tangiers, Morocco in early 2017.

Renault SA intends to move some production of its Logan MCV wagon from a facility in Pitesti, Romania, to its factory in Tangiers, Morocco in early 2017.

The company tells France’s L’Usine NouvelleI the reallocation will free up capacity in Romania to hike output of Duster SUVs.

Renault did not say how much Logan MCV production will move to Morocco. The company built a total of about 40,000 of the vehicles in 2015.
