The Renault-Nissan alliance has made three senior management changes in its integrated purchasing operations with new assignments that will take effect on Jan. 1.

Christian Vandenhende, who has headed combined purchasing, will take over as executive vice president in charge of quality and customer satisfaction for Renault. He succeeds Philippe Prevel, who will move to an unspecified new assignment.

Succeeding Vandenhende is Yasuhiro Yamauchi, currently global senior vice president for Renault-Nissan purchasing. He will be replaced in his present post by Veronique Sarlat-Depotte, who has managed the alliance's body and electrical purchasing activities.

Separately, Renault named Denis Le Vot to head sales and marketing in Europe, also effective Jan. 1. He has been deputy managing director of Renault Russia since 2011.
