Renault-Brilliance-Jinbei (RBJ) Automotive Co., the joint venture formed this year by Renault SA and Brilliance China Automotive Holdings Ltd., plans to launch seven electric light commercial vehicles—including three all-electric models—over the next two years in China.

The rollout will include MPVs and midsize and large vans sold under the Huasong, Jinbei and Renault brands. Annual sales for the Shenyang-based venture are expected to total 150,000 by 2022.

This week the partners signed a strategic agreement with officials from China’s Liaoning province to accelerate the growth of light commercial vehicles and electric powertrains. RBJ says sales of such vehicles in China are likely to reach 3 million units per year in coming years.
