Ranger Pickup Added to Ford Airbag Recall
2005 Ranger Ford Motor Co. has broadened a recall of 58,700 vehicles launched in June to 85,000 units, all with Takata Corp. airbag inflators that might explode when triggered.

Ford Motor Co. has broadened a recall of 58,700 vehicles launched in June to 85,000 units, all with Takata Corp. airbag inflators that might explode when triggered.
Most of the additional models are Ranger small pickup trucks. Ford will replace the driver's and passenger's front airbags in 2004-2005 models. The June recall was to replace only passenger airbags in the trucks.
The earlier recall also covers 2005-2007 Mustang and 2005-2006 GT cars. Ford says some additional models of those cars have been added to the expanded recall, but it had no immediate details
