PSA Sales Stalled in China in 2015

PSA Peugeot Citroen says its venture with Dongfeng Moor Corp. delivered 704,800 vehicles last year compared with 704,000 units in 2014.

The partners had hoped to increase sales 14% in 2015. But year-on-year volumes slumped last spring when China’s economic growth slowed and didn’t recover until the central government rolled out sales incentives in October.

The venture is targeting an 8% sales increase to about 765,000 units in 2016, according to Automotive News China.
