PSA Peugeot Citroen is negotiating to acquire the French auto parts Web site Mister-Auto.com, Les Echos reports. It isn't clear when a deal might be reached.

Selling components online is rare among European carmakers. Companies typically tell online visitors to go to a dealership for replacement parts.

Sources tell Bloomberg News the purchase would help PSA's goal of increasing parts sales at least 30% to €7.2 billion by 2020. The news service says Mister-Auto generated sales of €91 million in 2013.
