Daimler AG says it will recall 114,000 of its Mercedes-Benz cars in Germany to repair faulty engine seals that could cause oil leaks in their 4-cylinder diesels, Reuters reports.
The global campaign covers an undisclosed number and type of vehicles made in February-November 2014.
It wasn't immediately clear if the callback in Germany is related to a December campaign in the U.S. to fix a leaky chain tensioner gasket in 4-cylinder diesels. That recall covers 4,900 diesel-powered Mercedes E-Class cars and M-Class and GLK-Class crossovers made during the 2014-2015 model years.
