General Motors Co.'s Cadillac unit is developing a small SUV, but the vehicle won't arrive for at least four years, according to President Johan de Nysschen.
The new model will join the brand's $68,000 Escalade large SUV and $38,000 midsize SRX crossover.
De Nysschen tells reporters at the Washington, D.C., auto show that the small SUV will be one of eight new vehicles being developed under a five-year, $12 billion product blitz. The first of the new models is due in late 2017.
De Nysschen also says Cadillac plans to introduce diesel-powered cars and SUVs for the European market in 2019.
